Vienna Hofburg Orchestra

In 1971, the best musicians from all the major Vienna orchestra associations joined forces under conductor Gert Hofbauer to form the Vienna Hofburg Orchestra.

Their declared aim was to cultivate Viennese waltz and operetta music, and to bring it to the world. Domestic and foreign radio and television productions, international engagements for symphonic concerts, as well as studio recordings have made the orchestra well-known and renowned.

Here you are in the middle of the musical autistic world. You cannot leave without going to some type of a musical or an Orchestra. The Tour Company Gate one travel reserved a group of ticket’s in the Hofburg palace with great seats to listen to a breathtaking performance. When you walk in on the right, you can check your coat if you don’t wanna have to put it on the back of the seat your sitting in.
One of the most beautiful things I've seen in my entire life ❤️

A great big thank you to the theatre staff that helped my wife and myself when our coach left without us. (10/9/24) They were so helpful and got us back to our ship safely. They went over and above expectations. Also we really enjoyed the show. Once again many thanks.

We attended the Wiener Hofburg-Orchester’s J. Strauss & W.A. Mozart concert, and it was a fantastic experience! The two opera singers and ballet couple perfectly complemented the music. The conductor was brilliant, bringing energy to every piece. It was both musically impressive and highly entertaining. We highly recommend it to classical music lovers. A truly memorable evening!

A great orchestra conducted by Daniel Auner. What a beautiful program and operetta, ballet show. Fantastic soprano Ella tyran
attended a fantastic concert with a young, lesser-known conductor who was very enthusiastic. an amazing experience
The entrance is not actually in Josefsplatz, but in Heldenplatz. They should update their location, as I wasn't the only one who got lost and missed the first part of the concert (I met 2 other groups in the same situation). Apart from that, the hall and concerts are totally worth it!
Very beautiful library in Vienna! I like it!

Quality concert with beautiful voices of lyrical artists. A note of humor and a program essentially from the Strauss family particularly suited to a discovery of Vienna.

Very good quality is concert. We enjoyed a lot. Tks
It's a lifetime's experience! I absolutely recommend it! There are so many music halls and so many concerts taking place in Vienna that it's hard to pick one. Aiming for the New Year's concert next year!
Wiener Hofburg Orchester
Wow! What a special occasion. On 4 May 2019, my wife and I attended a memorable concert program offered by the Wiener Hofburg Orchester in the actual Hofburg Palace of Vienna. We were treated to an evening filled with inspiring music played by excellent musicians, singing by a pair of professional soloists, and dancing by a lovely ballet couple. The comical antics of the orchestra drummer are not to be missed! This palace is the perfect venue to hold such cultural events. We highly recommend this program to both Austrians and Foreign Tourists, alike!
Keep in mind, that while walking the streets of Central Vienna, you will be offered tickets to concert presentations from many different companies and it is difficult to tell them apart. The Wiener Hofburg Orchester offers the program of choice! We happily give it a 5 star rating. Enjoy a wonderful cultural evening of music, song and dance!
Great music in a beautiful hall presented in a fun way!
